The Global Governing Body for Small-Sided Football. Promoting youth development, international competitions, and the growth of 7-a-side football worldwide since 2022.
Explore Federation View CompetitionsThe 7 A Side Football International Federation (7ASFIF) is the world governing body for 7-a-side football, recognized as the official authority for small-sided football competitions globally.
Established in 2022 in New Delhi, India, our federation was formed to create a structured, professional platform for the rapidly growing sport of 7-a-side football. With roots in traditional football but designed for faster pace and increased player involvement, 7-a-side football has become one of the world's most popular small-sided football formats.
Our mission is to develop, promote, and govern 7-a-side football worldwide, ensuring the sport's integrity, accessibility, and continuous growth. We work closely with national associations, clubs, players, and coaches to establish standardized rules, organize international competitions, and implement development programs.
Our Governance Structure
To globally develop and promote 7-a-side football as a distinct, accessible, and competitive sport that fosters athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and community engagement while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and fair play.
To establish 7-a-side football as a universally recognized and practiced sport with a structured pathway from grassroots to professional levels, culminating in global competitions that showcase the highest levels of skill and athleticism.
Integrity, inclusivity, innovation, excellence, and respect. We believe in fair play, equal opportunity, technological advancement, pursuit of excellence, and mutual respect among all participants in the 7-a-side football community.
The 7ASFIF operates through a democratic governance structure with elected representatives from member nations.
The supreme authority of the federation, consisting of delegates from all member national associations. The Congress meets annually to set strategic direction, approve constitutional changes, and elect the Executive Committee.
Each member nation has one vote, ensuring equal representation regardless of size or footballing history. The Congress also approves the annual budget and audited financial statements.
The 15-member Executive Committee is elected by the Congress for a four-year term and is responsible for implementing the federation's strategy and managing day-to-day operations.
The committee includes the President, three Vice-Presidents, and eleven members representing different continental confederations. The Executive Committee meets quarterly to review progress and make operational decisions.
Specialized committees oversee specific areas: Competitions, Refereeing, Coaching, Medical, Legal, Finance, and Development. Each committee includes experts in their respective fields appointed by the Executive Committee.
